Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class-III and Class-IV Act, 2021 and the Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022, Online applications are invited from intending eligible applicants, who are citizens of India having registration number in the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam, for filling up 13,300 tentative vacant posts of Class-IV under different departments/ establishment in Government of Assam in Pay Bands and Grade Pay as per ROP, 2017 along with other allowances as admissible.

Educational Qualification

1. Read up to Class-III
Total posts: 9,000 posts

2. HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed
total: posts: 4,300 posts 

Maximum Educational Qualification: HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination passed. 

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 2022. 

The upper age limit is relaxable as follows: 
(a) 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 
(b) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. 
(c)2 years for Ex-Servicemen. 
(d) 10 years for PwD candidates.

Scale of Pay: The pay band and grade pay of the post as per Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017 and as amended.

b) SC/STP/STH candidates: 200/-

How to Apply Assam State Level Direct Recruitment Commission 2022 For 13300 Grade IV Vacancy Posts?

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment: 

Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for selection of candidates for different category of posts. Accordingly, commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, OBC and other categories.

The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

Class 12th/ HS Level: 

The commission will organize separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

# Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed.
# Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed with computer skill.
# Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed in science

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

The candidates applied for the Class 12th level posts will have to appear in a written test in the 1st phase of the recruitment process. The details of the written test is as mentioned below.

Class 10th/ HSLC Level: 

The commission will conduct separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

# High School Leaving Certificate (Class 10th) of equivalent examination passed.
# High School Leaving Certificate (Class 10th) of equivalent examination passed with Driving Licence.

Merit List for Assam Direct Recruitment: 

The preparation of merit list for appointment against various category of posts will be executed through following stages.

# On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit.

# Additionally, minimum qualifying marks, of the marks obtained in the written examination, for General Candidates and Candidates belonging to the different reserved categories, shall be determined by the Commission to short list candidates, from the above list, to be called for Computer test/ other test/ practical test in a ratio to be decided by the Commission.

# The Commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for Computer test/ other test/ practical test.

# Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the Computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection. 
 
# The final merit list for Class III and IV posts shall be based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and Computer Test or Other Test or Interview.



Q1. If I do not have Employment Exchange Registered Number, can I apply for the posts?
Ans: No, you cannot . Before filling up of application for the recruitment, you will have to get your name registered in the Employment Exchange.

Q2. If I am a candidate of HSLC / HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed, how many posts can I apply for?
Ans: If the candidate is HSLC/HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed then he/she is eligible to apply for both the categories of post.

  • i)HSLC or Equivalent (II)
  • ii) Class VIII passed (I)
Therefore, the candidate may click on 'YES' button for both the categories I and II if he/ she desires to apply for both in One Go

Q3. If I have read upto Class VIII how many posts can I apply for?
Ans: If the candidate has read upto Class VIII then he/she can apply for only one post, i.e read upto Class VIII (I)
Therefore He/She can click on 'YES' for category( I )and 'NO' for category (II)

Q4. If I am Graduate can I apply for the posts?
Ans: No, a candidate having higher qualifications than HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed then he/she is not eligible to apply in Class-IV posts

Q5. Can I apply for the posts if I do not have ADHAR Card?
Ans: Yes, you can as ADHAR is not mandatory

Q6. If my marksheets is based on GPA/CGPA formula?
Ans: If marks are provided in the marksheet on GPA/CGPA basis then the PC(%) of marks will have to be calculated as per accordance with the GPA/CGPA formula provided in the marksheet itself.

Q7. What are the documents I need to upload?
Ans: The applicant has to upload only the photograph and scanned signature as specified. All other documents will be verified at the appropriate time before appointments if selected. The information provided in the application must be in conformity with the testimonials available with you. In case of mismatch your application will stand cancelled and you maybe liable to be prosecuted as per prevailing Acts and Rules.
