DEE Assam LP Teacher Recruitment 2023: A No. 255733/10 With a view to support, strengthen and improve the quality of Elementary Education in the State of Assam in compliance with the Right to Education Act, 2009 and in pursuance of Govt. approval vide eFile No. 255733 dated 12.01.2023 online applications are hereby invited through the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from eligible Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam, who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), for filling up of 3887 (Three Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Seven) vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam in the Pay Band - 2 (PB-2) @Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”
The district-wise, medium-wise and category-wise break-up of vacancies showing the reservation for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen etc. will be notified in due course of time, subject to approval of the Post-Based Roster from the WPT & BC Department, Personnel Department and subject to approval of the vacant posts from Finance (SIU) Department. The vacancies may vary due to administrative reasons. The Director of Elementary Education, Assam reserves the right to make changes in sequences of the recruitment process after publication of the advertisement.

Selection Process for Assam LP Teacher Recruitment:
The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit considering the reservation for EWS/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD etc. and marks will be allocated as follows:
Note: Any other marks obtained in other exams such as HSLC or Equivalent, Graduation, Post-Graduation and other Professional Qualification not mentioned in the guideline of NCTE will not be considered
